A liquid is a state of matter with no difinite shape but a definite volume. Also a liquid has particles that can move around a little but still can not fully spread out.

these juices are liquids because their particles have just enough room to move around, and they have no definite shape and a definite volume.

The vineger inside the bottle is a liquid because it has no definite shape but it does have a definite shape so that makes it a liquid.

There smoothes are a liquid because the there particles are able to move around a little and they have a definite volume but not a definit shape.
