Solids are when the molecles are close together vibvrating.Solids also have a definite volume and shape because they don't fill their container they keep their same shape which means same volume as well.

This helmet is a solid because it can't change its shape which means that it has a definte volume and shape, and that its particles are close together vibrating.

This frisbee is a solid because it has a definit shape and volume and it has partyicles inside that are stuck toegther vibrating.

This basket ball is a solid because its molecles are stuck close together vibrating and the are taking up space, they also have a definite volume and shape.
